What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?

What is your favorite children's book?
Goodnight Moon! To this day, I cannot see the full moon in the sky and not start reciting the book to everyone near me.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toy was my very loved stuffed animal, Henrietta.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My two girls, Lauren and Hannah. They are not only bright and successful, they are, more importantly, kind, empathetic and compassionate. Lauren is in the middle of her pediatric residency and Hannah is starting her orthopedic residency.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Family, friends, good food and retail therapy! Plus, I like to take my two very rambunctious Shih Tzus, Cal and Bear, on walks and play dates.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I am inspired to work in pediatrics because it allows me to care for children across every stage of development while supporting families who know them best. I genuinely enjoy working with all ages-from infants to adolescents - and appreciate how each stage brings unique challenges, strengths, and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I am especially motivated by the opportunity to help children overcome mental health-related struggles so they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Supporting a child through anxiety, ADHD, emotional distress- and watching their confidence and functioning grow-has been deeply rewarding. Helping children develop resilience and coping skills not only improves their present well-being but also sets the foundation for long term success.
