Cinderella, Moana, Zootopia, Finding Nemo, The Lion King
What is your favorite children's book and why?
The Rainbow Fish, because I loved the beautiful illustrations and the message about sharing and kindness. Even as a child, it made me think about how rewarding it feels to give to others and be a good friend, which are lessons that I carry with me today.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
Polly Pocket, Barbie, My Little Pony, Tamagotchi, Nintendo DS, Care Bears, LEGOs
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My mom is my greatest inspiration. She worked tirelessly to give me a good life, raise me, and support me every step of the way. She continues to take care of our family and those around her with so much love. Her dedication, compassion, and example inspire me to succeed and live a life filled with the same care and generosity she has always shown.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Exploring local farmers markets, trying new foods, baking, going to the beach, drinking matcha, pilates, traveling, reading on my Kindle, watching feel-good rom coms and action/thriller movies movies, spending time with my energetic Australian Shepherd, Maple.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I love being around kids! Their humor, resilience, and the little surprises they bring every day truly make my day. Growing up in a big family, I learned how important it is to be reliable, supportive, and caring, and I enjoy being someone both kids and parents can trust. I love seeing children grow up, seeing what they can achieve, building lasting relationships, and helping families feel supported along the way.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
What sets me apart is my ability to create a lighthearted and welcoming environment where kids feel comfortable and families feel supported. I will always try to connect with each patient in a way that feels personal, and remember little details about them to make visits feel familiar and caring. I try my best to be present, approachable, relatable, and reliable, so both kids and parents know they can trust me and our practice in caring for them.
