What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?

What is your favorite children's book and why?
The Giving Tree - First book I remember reading on my own, and the message is timeless.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
Tamagotchi - Not sure if this was my favorite, but very memorable! Oh the responsibility...
Who is your greatest inspiration and why?
My kids - They are the greatest challenge and gift all at the same time. I learn everyday from them!
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Swimming and Trail Running
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I always wanted to be a teacher, then I switched gears when I learned about nursing. I'm not so sure I was "inspired" to work in pediatrics, but it was more of an organic attraction since I'm basically a big kid myself : )
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
Honesty and transparency. Communication is everything to me, so it is so important that my patients and families feel heard and confident when we are working together.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
I have extensive training in managing an array of acute and chronic health conditions including experience of working in the Emergency Department as an RN at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
