I love the original Winnie the Pooh book as the quiet contemplation and deep wisdom of these simple woodland characters resonates with me.

What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I am passionate about helping children at all ages, babies through to the college years. I enjoy working with families and guiding them in ways to help grow resilient, healthy , children who can find there place in the world. I believe no other health care job makes the difference we can in our communities than working as a pediatrician.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I have advanced training in pediatric nutrition, infectious disease and mental & developmental health . I use these extra skills in my practice to help in all aspects of children's health. I use a preventative approach to medicine and make use of integrative medicine concepts in my day to day practice. I believe in open and honest communication and truly work hard to listen and address families concerns or issues.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
I work extensively with children with special needs in and have wide experience and training caring for kids with extra physical, emotional , mental or developmental needs. I use an integrative and whole-person family based approach when caring for all children.
