What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite cartoon is Doc McStuffins.
What is your favorite children's book?
One of my favorite children’s books is Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss. I love its message of curiosity, resilience, and growth—values I bring to my work as a clinicain, helping kids navigate life’s little adventures with confidence and positivity.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
One of my favorite childhood toys was my play doctor kit. I loved caring for “patients” and pretending to listen to their hearts, which sparked my curiosity about the body and taught me early lessons in empathy—qualities I carry with me today as a provider
Who is your greatest inspiration?
I’m inspired by my dad, a retired physician who overcame many challenges to achieve his goals. From him, I learned that with determination and perseverance, any obstacle can be overcome—a lesson I carry with me in life and in my work
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy practicing yoga, which helps me stay balanced and centered. I also love spending time with my nieces, nephew, and especially my niece’s daughter, taking part in their lives and watching them grow. In addition, I enjoy cooking healthy meals, experimenting with nutritious recipes that are both delicious and good for the whole family.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I was drawn to pediatrics by the privilege of caring for children and supporting families. Every smile, milestone, and recovery reminds me why I love this work—it’s not just a profession, it’s a calling to help children grow, thrive, and be their best selves.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
What sets me apart is my deep commitment to each child’s health and well-being, combined with empathy, patience, and a genuine love for working with families. I take the time to listen, understand concerns, and provide guidance that is clear, compassionate, and tailored to each child. By creating a safe, welcoming environment and connecting with children on their level, I build trust and lasting relationships that make every visit meaningful and positive.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
I take great pride in caring for children with special needs and believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and understood. I make sure each visit is tailored to the child’s unique needs—whether that means creating a calm, low-stimulation environment, allowing extra time, or working closely with families to find what makes their child most comfortable. My goal is to build trust and provide compassionate, patient-centered care that helps every child feel supported and valued.
