What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movie is Sing.
What is your favorite children's book?
My favorite children’s book is The Magic Finger because it was part of my first school project.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toy was Cabbage Patch Kids dolls.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My grandmother, she was the person that taught me about compassion and sparked my desire to help those in need
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dogs and going to the beach.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I became interested in pediatrics because children are incredibly resilient which is inspiring, and their honesty brought a joy that was unique compared to any other field
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
One of my strongest qualities is my ability to communicate with both children and adults in a way that feels respectful, clear, and reassuring
I’m especially patient and observant, which helps me pick up on nonverbal cues—whether a child is anxious, overwhelmed. I take the time to build trust first, even if that means slowing down, getting on the child’s eye level, or using play and humor to reduce fear.
