This schedule outlines routine well visits for most children. Some children may need additional screenings, vaccines, or lab tests based on their health and other risk factors. Certain states may require extra screening questionnaires as well. Seasonal vaccines/immunizations for the flu, RSV, and COVID may also be recommended depending on the timing of your child’s visits.
Meet the care team, learn about our practice, and discuss pregnancy, delivery, and newborn care. Review mother’s health history.
Review hospital course, growth, and overall health. Labs: Heel prick test for jaundice (bilirubin) if needed. Newborn metabolic screening test if not done in the hospital. Vaccines: Hepatitis B vaccine if not given in the hospital.
Discuss growth, school/work performance, mental health and overall well-being.
