What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated movies and shows are Transformers, Dragon Ball Z, ThunderCats, and Star Wars
What is your favorite children's book?
My favorite book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It brings me great memories reading with my son.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Power Ranger Megazords.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My father is my greatest inspiration because he faced so much adversity and hardship yet managed to provide for us everything we ever needed. To this day, his teachings continue to guide me. RIP dad.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
I am currently taking Taekwondo lessons with my two children. I also love art and growing bonsai trees.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I was a Pediatric NICU/PICU Respiratory Care practitioner for 10 years before medical school. I went into medical school loving pediatrics with an open mind during each rotation to see if any other specialty would change my mind. Nothing did. Nothing brings me more joy than taking care of kids.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I was a Pediatric NICU/PICU Respiratory Care practitioner for 10 years before medical school. I am very experienced in respiratory cases. I was also inspired to become a doctor by a healthcare provider at a young age. As a result I understand how impressionable kids are and love help inspire them. Well checks are not just about the body but the mind as well.
