my oldest daughter who I diagnosed with autism at 2, but was not diagnosed by the LA Regional Center until 4 years old. She is now 31 years old
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
traveling, playing word games, spending time with family
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I enjoy working with children; I am left with 3 children between 2 and 7 years old since 2002, the oldest being autistic. They have inspired me to take care of other children, hich I am passionate about
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I love listening to parents to help them with their concerns with their children; love listening to children themselves more
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
diagnose and refer them to appropriate agencies for further evaluation and management
