Frozen

What is your favorite children's book and why?

Guess How Much I Love you because it was both of my daughter's favorite book that captures the unconditional love between a child and parent

Who is your greatest inspiration and why?

My greatest inspiration is my youngest sister Sara, who was born with hypoxic encephalopathy and has special needs. Growing up alongside her shaped my understanding of resilience, compassion, and the importance of individualized care. Her journey inspired my commitment to pediatrics and to supporting children and families with empathy, patience and respect.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

I enjoy playing tennis, shopping and doing outdoor activities with my husband, who is also a pediatrician, and my two daughters. I enjoy volunteering my time with many charities including Miracle for Kids, South County Outreach and Operation Help a Hero.

What inspired you to work in pediatrics?

I have always enjoyed being around and helping kids, and knew from an early age that I wanted to be a pediatrician. I focus on delivering quality, compassionate care and providing the education, resources and information required for my patients to live healthy and happy lives. I understand the impact I have on kids and do not take this responsibility lightly.

What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?

What sets me apart as a pediatrician is a deeply personal and compassionate approach to care building trust through clear, honest communication by taking the time to listen to both children and their caregivers. I strive to create a welcoming environment where families feel heard, respected and supported. My goal is to partner with families to not just treat illness but to support each child's overall growth, development and well being with empathy, consistency and respect.

How do you accommodate patients with special needs?

with compassion, patience, respect and flexibility
