Shrek!

My favorite children's book is Maybe: A Story about the Endless Potential in All of Us. This book was gifted to us at my baby shower and I love reading it to my son. It's a cute story that emphasizes all the wonderful possibilities of who you can be and how we are one of a kind! I think it is a great book for both kiddos and adults alike.

Anything animal related! I am a big animal lover, dogs specifically, so I loved playing with animal toys, stuffies, etc growing up.

I would say my greatest inspiration are my parents. They raised me to have strong work ethic, be caring and compassionate, and have instilled a love for adventure in me! Because of them, I have adopted the model "anything worth having is worth fighting for." I strive to be the parent to my son that my parents are to me.

When I'm not working, I love to be outdoors! My husband, son, dog and I love to spend our summer days at the beach and during the winter, we love traveling to find the freshest snow to ski and snowboard. I also enjoy a quite night by the firepit with a good book.

Being able to take care of kiddos from as young as 2 days old and seeing them grow and develop into early adulthood is such a fun experience. I also love being able to build relationships with my patients and their families, providing care, guidance and support throughout different stages of life.

I believe that a relationship between a healthcare provider and a patient is most successfully built on trust and transparency. I strive to make my patients feel seen and heard when they are in my office with a concern. I do my best to spend adequate time with each and every patient, educating them and their families so they can understand the diagnosis and treatment, with the goal to make them feel as comfortable as possible regarding their unique situations.
