My hobbies include Pilates, hiking, and generally staying active. Traveling and spending time exploring new cultures and volunteering in the community are important to me.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I have always been drawn to working with children, and love the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families. I'm passionate about connecting with kids of all ages and making a positive impact on their growth, development, and overall, wellbeing. Primary care allows me to support them through every milestone and truly advocate for their health and welfare.
As a mother of 2 young adult daughters, I understand the parenting journey and the stages of childhood and adolescent development.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
As a mother of two young adult daughters, I understand the parenting journey and the stages of childhood and adolescent development. This perspective helps me relate to families with empathy, offer practical guidance, and celebrate the moments when children grow into confident adults. I am deeply committed to advocating for children and ensuring they have foundation to thrive. I also am a certified lactation educator and can provide support and guidance to new breastfeeding mothers/families.
How do you accommodate patients with special needs?
With almost 25 years of experience in pediatrics I am comfortable working with all children.
