My mom because she raised me to be the person I am today, she always encouraged me and supported me in all that I wanted to achieve even through her own adversities
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Spending time with my husband and 2 daughters, going to Disneyland, eating good food, traveling
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I think it is so important to develop good habits, especially ones related to health, early in life. It helps children set a standard of being healthy, vibrant and happy adults. I want to be able to help children in this way and it really gives me joy to do so.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I always try my best to develop rapport with my patients and their families by being a present listener and showing that I care about all aspects of their lives. I try to connect with my patients as much as possible by approaching them in the appropriate way, whether if they're a baby, school aged or a teenager. I want my patients and their families to come out of the visit wanting to see me again as their provider.
